Website Content Writing
Good content will show the writers own personality and flavor in it. It will be interesting and very informative, if it's not what's the point of putting it online in the first place, nobody will benefit from it and it won't help you get more repeat visitors.

Content is the KING!
On the Internet content is king and always will be. This is because the
Internet is the information superhighway and most people use it for
information of some sort.
Website Content Writing is the total information on that website. Generally the more useful and
interesting content a website has the more successful it will be. This is
because more people will want to visit it again and again, this is especially
true if a website is constantly adding more and more content on a regular
basis be it articles, tutorials, news and opinion or whatever.
The term "web content" is mostly used for content written specifically for
web pages. It is written for web surfers who have different reading habits
than newspaper or magazine readers. Web content has to be sticky because web
surfers are generally impatient by nature and quite often leave the website
without getting to the real thing.
Optimized Web Content
Optimized content is focused around few keywords and key phrases. Your
search engines ranking improves significantly if the content on your web page
is optimized. This is done without compromising on the readability. It's
perfectly normal text, the human reader doesn't even realize that keywords are
being repeated for the search engines. The more keywords-centric content you
have, the better is your chance of getting a higher ranking once a search is
conducted by your prospective customer or client.
When a visitor comes to your website, unless he really knows you, he is full
of apprehensions, and it is so natural. No matter how cool your website is,
the crux of the matter is, it is faceless and silent. It's like arriving at a
super-age spaceship that has no humans in it. Only your words can allay his
doubts, only web page content can convey that you are real, only your words
can explain to him what you are selling and why it would be good for him to
purchase on your e-commerce shopping cart. On whichever page he is, he gets to
read something that answers one or the other question he might be having.
If your site consist of relevant content, your search engine results have been
improving when you look for terms on Google, Yahoo! etc. The search engine
algorithms are putting more and more emphasis on the relevancy of the written
content of your website. This is a step in the right direction both for the
search engine robots and for the human beings. After all, if you are searching
for a specific terms or a key phrase, you need information specific to that
keyword. You don't need unnecessary pages coming at the top. If a website
contains lots of good content that talks about your search keywords, it is
going to be rated higher.
In the end I would say, it's not about having lots of content, it's about
having relevant content. If you have relevant, optimized and well-meaning
textual content, your visitors read it, the search engines find it, and the
webmasters link to it. If the content is not good, your visitors don't read
it, the search engines can't make out what you're trying to say and hence
ignore it, and the webmasters don't link back to it. It's such a simple logic.
