Gavin, I’m thinking of getting a Canon EOS 1000D.
Would you recommend this to a beginner?

I usually never comment anything on YT, but after watching a number of your videos and seeing how great you interact with that model while using affordable equipment to take really great shots… well… what can I say, you’re brilliant.

Thanks a ton for the time you spend making those videos; greatly appreciated!

I have been watching your videos and they are great and they have given me loads of great ideas.
I want to get a fairly good camera in the new year, but cant afford an SLR, You mentioned tha these effects can be achieved with a creative compact camera.
I would like to achieve a outcome that looks as proffessional as possible. Would you be able to tell me if it could be possible to achieve a good enough image with a point and shoot camera with manual setting such as a Nikon Coolpix p100.

I’d rather just do it with burst shots instead of trying to take one each time she throws :) PEACE
