  • How do I convince my mother that Facebook is completely safe?

I thought my mom would be ok with me having one so without asking her, I went ahead and made one. Then, of course, she found out and was super duper mad and said that I couldn’t have one because it isn’t safe. She said that i could just use an email, but not all of my friends have an email. So how can i convince her that Facebook it is safe?

It’s not, they are having a few lawsuits over personal information too.

Just let her see your pics on it and your friend list and tell her you can set the privacy so only the people you know can see you on there. Or just giver her your username and password if your not trying to hide anything from her. Than she can check up if she feels she has to and you can keep your account.

The best way to make it safe is to be friend’s with ONLY PEOPLE YOU KNOW! Don’t accept Friend Request’s from anyone you don’t know. Then, it’s all good!

Make everything on your profile private, and don’t accept friend requests from anyone you don’t know. Don’t put your address, phone number, etc. on your facebook. Let her look at the pictures that you put on.
