Can anyone tell me how to get more traffic to my affiliate website? After 1 year I only have 100 hits a day.?
I have an affiliate website that I have spent alot of money on and after 1 year I still only have 100 visitors a day. I blog and social bookmark everyday and have submitted the site to countless directories. I have read that search engines hate affiliate websites, but there are still alot of people that make good money off of them. What else can I do without spending a bunch of money to drive traffic to the site. I have also written articles, tried ppc campaigns( which is costly and I do good to break even on), and blog and social bookmark everyday. Please help me save my site.

Guess I haven’t seen you endorsing a get rich quick product, 100 unique visitor a day sounds ok, are you getting conversions? (is that hit could really a visitor count) I’ve checked out the backlinks of several high ranked sites, they don’t seem to have many bum marketing style links, many have paid blogroll links, some had press release copies with backlinks that got onto multiple sites. Adding a forum is one way to get daily content additions.
One alternative to PPC, buysellads.com is a banner placement broker, use the search and filter sliders to get the site with your topic and price point, starts at $10/mo for 10,000+ impressions.
You could experiment with CPM media buys like the big time cpa people use, some of the best have a $100 or $200 minimum.
